I checked and it is currently out of print, however, the company that
publishes it has some other Welsh titles you might be interested in. You
can place your name on the mailing list to be informed when books
become available.

The information above was provided by a relative. If it is
incorrect, please let me know.
I look forward to getting more information about my Welsh
ancestors. Robert Cadwalader came from Bala, Merionethshire about
1698 and landed in Philadelphia. He and his family were on a ship
called the "Robert and Elizabeth."
There is a great book called "Welsh Founders of Pennsylvania" by
Thomas Allen Glenn. It provides a great deal of information about
many of the Welsh that came to Pennsylvania and makes alot of
references to their ancestry in Wales.

Subject: [FRONGOCH] New members & My Lines
Greetings everyone!
Just today, two new members joined us and about a week ago another member
joined. As we have all been very silent lately, I would like to encourage
all members to either post some information you have to share or, at
least,
let the new members know how your are connected to Fron Goch. ....OR
your
ideas of what you would like to see on this email list.
I've asked each new member to share their line and in particular their
connection to the farm. Perhaps we will hear from them soon.
I appreciate all of you sending me your snail addresses (some I have) in
the case it is needed at a later date. I've found in the past, people
change their email addresses and/or if the computer crashes (yours or
mine!), I can still get in touch with you.
BTW, Beth --what library has the Evans book? I'm writing them directly as
my library doesn't seem to do anything after being told it didn't
circulate.
Ken --welcome back. I wasn't ignoring you, but with Conferences at school
and another surname warming up, I've been more than busy.
I've also been toying with the Webpage, but am not settled on the details
yet. Is anyone interested in giving suggestions for its contents?
(Advice
is also welcomed)
I'm still trying to get to Wales again this summer and may have a
companion, although she isn't our cousin. I'd rather go with any of you
so
we can share the research and the enjoyment of staying in our
ancestor's
home. Beth has been instrumental in helping me locate some areas and
items
to search while there.
Keep spreading the word about our list and encourage anyone descending
from
the farm to join. It is exciting to see how many of us have
connections
to
Fron Goch.
My Connection:
Evan ap Robert ap Lewis had:
Evan ab Evans of Fron Goch who had:
Sarah ab Evans. Sarah m. Robert Pugh and had:
Ellen who m. John Rogers
This line goes into Cunrod/Cunard and Jenkins lines in PA & VA.
The
Cunrod/Cunard line descends from Thones Konders, one of the 13
Original
Settlers of Germantown.
Any new members connected to me?
Best wishes,
Emily
