Terry & Gary,
Glad to have you aboard! I'm pleased to see that the two of you are
connected to the Pughs, etc. as well. Maybe we can get more detail on
their ancestors in Wales.
As for Sarah ab Evans --I'm interested in her desc. for about three
generations, at least. As you are on a different part of that line
(although I'm a Pugh and Rogers, also), I would appreciate anything you are
comfortable sharing (send sources if you have them) For her ancestors,
let's share one or two generations at a time as I've spotting data on
them....mostly from Welsh Founders, Welsh Settlement of PA, etc. Probably
all the ones others have seen....which is why I want to get back to Wales
next summer.
For the Archives:
You could try the URL:
http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl
Then enter the list name: Frongoch-Wales
OR go to:
RootsWeb.com and choose:
Interactive Search of Mailing Lists (lower left list on homepage). Then...
Put in the list name: Frongoch-Wales
Then add a word for the query. You probably want to do something general
such as "Wales" so most of the info will be displayed.
Feel free to email me directly with details on lines not connected to Fron
Goch and to post any information you have on the area around the farm,
various questions and comments to any past queries you may have and any
info on "things" Welsh! <G>
Perhaps our other new person will honor us with their connection....and
other old members might share theirs for the Newbies! <G>
Thanks,
Emily
