I'm sorry to have subscribed to a wrong list. I intended to monitor a
couple of lists from Wales to see which would be the best for researching my
roots in Wales. I picked yours because I thought it looked like if
pertained to the northwest. Since I don't know just what location my
ggggrandfather Joseph Mills came from in Wales, I thought I would wait a
week or two to see what to expect before I posted a query. However I am
sorry if I am out of place. I'll maybe try the other list you suggest.
You don't have an old farmhand by the name of Joseph (maybe with a second
name Stanley or Starr) Mills in your line, do you? He ends up in Nova
Scotia by 1779 or before, marries Amy Pierce, from Rhode Island. He was
supposed to be born in Wales.

Welcome John,
When you receive your Welcome Message, please post to the list and tell the
member how you relate to the farm Fron Goch. We are planning a trip there
this summer and you may wish to join us as well.
IF, by chance, you don't know your line back to the farm Fron Goch, you are
welcomed to share it with me and I'll let you know if you connect as far as
any of us know, that is. This group is for people who descend from that
farm.
If you have other Welsh lines, I'm interested as I have a few others in the
area. You may wish to join the Powys email list as they would be more
helpful if you don't descend from Fron Goch.
