Beth, et al <G>
If you have the time, I would appreciate you contacting the Foulke site
owners. That's a great idea. If you don't and no one steps forward, I
will. As seems to be the norm these days, I'm in a real time crunch.
The comparison on the Coed-y-foel that I think is the one seems very
accurate according to my map. I am confident it is the correct one, but if
I get to go this summer, I'll try to verify it more. No doubt the current
owners of the farm will know if Foulkes once lived there. Had I known it
was important, I would have gone there as it was on my walk from Bala to
Llanfor. (That's how close together they are.)
Regarding the Evans, it will always be difficult find just the right one to
connect to ours, but is ALWAYS worth the effort to try. Good thinking.
My apologies on the slowness of putting together the Webpage with photos
(inside and out of the current Fron Goch farm.) I'm not only looking for
material for a multi-paged site, but am learning how to do one. Any
experienced Web-sters are welcomed to email me AND any one with ideas of
what they would like on the site, should as well. I don't have a problem
making it "OUR" page. My only criteria is that we center it around the
farm and those Welsh ancestors and locales....not our personal genealogy
and that hard work that others outside our group can do for themselves.
Bios of individual ancestors could be an option as well as history of
locales important to our family, etc. I'm also thinking of a bibliography
or resources, etc.
IDEAS, anyone?? What would you like to see?
Best wishes,
Emily
