Dear Cousins,
I'm sorry if I was vague with my resources in my posting a day or 2 ago regarding
finding some information on the Rhiwlas Estate. I know I said it was from the National
Library of Wales, Dept. of Manuscript & Records, gave the web site, date of deposit
& compiler. I was hoping people would want to look at the information firsthand and
was intending only to give a sample of what the collection held. After spending a few
hours @ the computer, I was kind of excited to find something, wanted to share, and was
also tired.
Nonetheless, I tried to get back to the information using the address bookmarked which I
posted to you, and couldn't get to it which was disturbing as I had bookmarked it when
I arrived (perhaps the problem was that I think it was a document & not an address).
In case anyone else finds the same problem with the address, here's how I got there:
*
www.llgc.org.uk/cac/cac0021.htm
* Click on "Web" site noted under "Address"
* Click on "Search our Holdings"
* Click on "Search the Databases"
* Fill in "Find all documents that contain:" to read "Rhiwlas Estate"
* Click "OK"
* Click "3 - Rhiwlas Estate"
When you get to this collection, you should easily see the portions I copied to my e-mail.
Emily, I hope your questions will be answered too.
If anyone still has trouble getting to this, let me know. I've tested my route &
it works for me.
Beth.
