Greetings,
Today's mail contained a letter from Ifor Owen, Bala Historical Society
member and local Quaker guru. He feels July 27th is a favorable time for
dinner and feels we can arrange the time of day when we arrive. He also
stattes that many Quakers from Fron Goch went to PA in the 17th Centuray
and many Quaker families lived in the neighborhood of Fron Goch.
Seemingly, this is information we already know, however, we may discover
other parts of our lines that were close at hand in Fron Goch as well.
I still have to hear from the Thomas family who lives at Coed-y-Foel uchaf
and who came to PA for the Foulke Reunion.
Do we have members connected to the Foulke's directly? Like many of you, I
have the info from the old Reunion, but do I need to be updated from
related members before going so that I may ask specific questions???
Still remodeling here (since January! Can you believe!) and I'll be off
line for a few days next week (June 8,9,10) while our floors are
refinished...in the case some of you are trying to reach me.
Everyone getting excited????
Priscilla ---need to know what hotel in Heathrow you booked so I will know
where to return the car. I hope to order it soon. I'll also have to find
a place in Bangor for Jul 25 as yet. DO let me know when you know the
arrival time of your train there.
Roland ---Keith dropped a line the other day and asked about you. He was
only trying to stay in contact with us.
I will touch base again with Robin and Roy....any questions for any of them???
Later,
Emily
