Rhys ap Gruffydd was b. in the commote of Caeo and d. just aft 24 Apr 1197
of the Plague. He is buried at St. David's Cathedral and was given the
title Yr Argwydd meaning Lord. (BTW, "Yr" means "the") Yr Argwydd
Rhys
was Prince of South Wales. He married Gwenllian v. Madog ap Maredudd.
Gwenllian was known as Lady Gwenllian and was descended from the Kings of
Powis and from Olaf Arnald ap Stiric (Sitric was a King of Dublin) Each
line below is the child of the person above.
