Here's a message from Emily!:
As I write I am sitting in the parlor used for guests at Frongoch. An ancient hand-hewn
beam runs the length of the room and an aerial photo of the farm buildings hangs over the
fireplace. The current residents have decorated it very nicely.
It's been a wonderful trip - I did make it to Belfast, Donaghadee and Doolin, Ireland.
Great scenery, music and Guinness! <VBG> Roland, his uncle, Priscilla and I met
yesterday and this morning (July 27) Gary and his cousin drove from their B&B to see
us for a time today. Tonight all of us will join Keith, his wife and Ifor Owen for dinner
at the Plas yn Dre, a wonderful restaurant in Bala. All of us are looking forward to our
time together. The weather has been overcast to sprinkles at times, but the sun breaks
through for much of the day. It is lovely hillside! Snowdonian mountains are very
beautiful!
I plan on seeing Ysbty Ifan and / or Ciltalgarth tomorrow and have an appointment to see
inside Llanfor Church at 3 pm as well.
Much to do and see with very little time.
Cheers! Emily.
