This is the answer to an inquiry I made after seeing part of the Denbighshire 1646 online
showing old "Yspytty" from whence I think our forbears moved into a
"new" one in Merionethshire. The prices are a little rich for me as I would be
happy with just a cheap copy. Still, I thought I'd pass it on. Beth.

My husband has collected them (antiquarian maps), and antiquarian prints, for nearly 40
years and we have had a lot of pleasure from them. We have now changed direction and are
building up a collection of contemporary Welsh artists.
We have over the years sold occasional items to friends and colleagues, often as wedding
and retirement gifts, and we still continue to do this.
We actually have two copies of the Speed Denbighshire, either of which we would be
willing to sell. They are:
Denbighshire John Speed 1646 edition £175
Denbighshire John Speed 1627 edition £ 230
He also has Merionethshire John Speed - 1612 1712 edition with a road added £230
These are the prices we would charge in this country to act as a guide. Prices for the
USA would have to be worked out with regard to the exchange rate and postage costs.
