Dear Beth and all--
Sorry to hear you could use a diversion, but do hope things calm. What a
stitch that you have to have the place opened for you. Obviously, you have
power! <G>
Any of the films could be a black hole or priceless gem. Take your pick.
If you can tell that they would be in English, I would suggest cover those
first to save frustration. I'm sure in time, I'll have to check the same
films for Pugh lines as well as our mutual Evan line.
I would suggest that you post what you order so when I order we could be
doing different films...perhaps others will order as well.
Don't forget, everyone. The FHC will keep the film if you wish to pay the
$10 fee. You can order it for the 5-6 weeks (don't now recall exactly) for
the $3.65 (unless the price has risen) and if you think you may want it
later on, you only need to pay the difference to keep it there.
ALSO, for those who haven't worked at a FHC, microfish is on $.35 a page
and always remains at the library. Check to see what books and helpful
info is on fish.
The FHCs also have machines to print copies for a fee.
If you get film that is in Welsh script, write me for copies of the
alphabet in Welsh script. The records will drive you nuts even using this
aid, so you don't want to NOT have it.
Thanks Beth for helping us who will be in tears trying to read the old
documents at the NLW....
Emily
