Elfed,
Thank you so very much for posting this link. I knew that the library was
planning to add some great information, but I haven't had time to keep up
with it.
Do you happen to know about Bartrum's last work? I know it wasn't finished,
but I thought that Michael Siddon and the library were to put it on CD, etc.
THAT is the one we all need so badly. If this is it (I've not used the link
yet), then forgive me. It is so sad that Peter didn't live to finish the
last section. I remember that he promised his wife it would be the last
one...and so it was.
ALSO, I know that I have ignored some of your requests...not intentionally,
however. SO, please, please submit them again and I'll make time to answer.
Life just gets too very busy here!
Thank you so very much for your support from Wales. I do appreciate it. We
must get together on my next trip there. I will be in London at the end of
February, but have no funds to make it to Wales. I will attend the
WhoDoYouThinkYouAre? Conference there. Do let me know if you have reason to
make your way there.
Best wishes,
Emily
If you do not hear from me in a timely manner, just write again...I was
buried in email. LOL

Emily,
I thought you would be interested to know about the following which I have
copied off the Clwyd Rootswebsite - my apologies if you know already. I
have not tried it out yet myself .
Bartrum's Welsh Pedigrees now online
In September a new set of data was published online at
http://histfam.familysearch.org/ which includes a database for Wales
titled,
"Wales: Medieval Records Primarily of Nobility and Gentry". The title is
a
bit misleading since there are individuals included from the mid
nineteenth
century.
You can access this well indexed and referenced data by clicking on the
"Advanced Search" link on the website listed above or go directly to
http://histfam.familysearch.org/searchform.php and in the "Tree" field
use
the drop down arrow and scroll to the bottom of the list for the Wales
database.
The Bartrum Genealogies form the base data set for this resource with
additional record sets added such as the Golden Grove material. Three
highlights of this database are the great record sets it is built from,
the
great search features, and the source documentation. The data is being
updated as time permits. Additions and corrections based on original
documents are accepted.

Best wishes ,
Elfed Owen.
