Hi Beulah!
Everything I've seen on Sarah and Robert is secondary source material.
Likewise on Ellin.
I wonder if the Quaker records in Wales were
kept in tact after the migration to Pennsylvania?
It HAS been ages since any activity on the list,
unless I got unsuscribed. Since I got your post,
I must still be on!
Terry

Hello,
I am a new member to this list. It appears to be inactive lately, is
there
anyone still a member? I am a long time researcher, since 1967, but
only
in
about the last 2 years have I been poking around in the Welsh
genealogies.
I
connect to FronGoch through Sarah Evans who married Robert Pugh.
I have some information to pass on and also a question. A lot of
secondary
sources report that Sarah Evans married Robert Pugh. Has anyone
found
this in
a primary source document? Also has anyone found the birth of their
daughter
Ellin/Ellen in Wales? I have records for later children but that
this
one.
I met with a professional Welsh researcher a couple weeks back and he
recommended several books. I will share his input with you. He advised
we read
"History of Wales" by John Davies
"Welsh Family History A Guide to Research" by John and Sheila Rowlands
"Second Stages in Researching Welsh Ancestry" by John & Sheila Rowlands
Thanks and hope to hear from you,
Beulah O'Neal >>
