Randall,
Welcome aboard! I've got a film on order through LDS on the Pugh family. Hope it will
unravel some mysteries. I will report findings to the mailing list. I'm descended from
Robert and Sarah's daughter, Ellin/Eleanor and John Rogers.
Terry Prall

My name is G. Randall Pugh, "Randall". I am a new subscriber to the FRONGOCH-WALES group. I have been researching my Pugh line (with only one significant gap in time) since 1972. About 1760 or shortly before John left Hampshire Co., Va. and removed to the Hawfields area of Orange Co., N.C. to escape the French and Indian War raging there at the time. Came with several other families from Va. to N.C. including his brother, Joseph Pugh. Later sold his lands in Va. to a Bethuel Pugh who may also have been a younger brother. I am interested in sharing info. on the Pugh/Evans families especially info. on the Pugh family prior to 1698 in Wales. I have the Evans family genealogy back about 40 generations. I'm sure all of you may have this already. I do have some information on Sarah's brothers from the early Pa. period. I am currently attempting to locate the ship passenger list for the voyage from England to Pa. in 1698 including Robert and Sarah and her 4 brothers. Beth McMakin apparently has a hot lead.
Hope to hear from you soon.
