Hi LaVerne,
I was surprised to discover that the Lee County site no longer resides on
Rootsweb. We are a democratic organization and always vote on anything we
do, with the majority prevailing. I will ask the membership if they want it
entirely removed from Rootsweb and displayed only n FLGenWeb but have a
couple of questions:
Is that even possible (to reside on both servers?)
While I realize that Ancestry has purchased the Rootsweb data, is it for
sure that our information will now have to be *purchased *through Ancestry?
I am a long-time subscriber to Ancestry and they do have quite a lot of free
information.
I appreciate your answers as I want to be sure to present the accurate and
entire picture to the membership.
Thanks in advance

Dear FLgenWeb Project Members,
Wishing each of you a very happy and safe Easter, and hopefully a sunny
one though today sure doesn't bode well for that prospect!
