Voting for FLGenWeb, Inc. election will begin September 1st.
A question is this: Since we are a corporation, will the vote be done within
the law? Some seats with only one candidate may not be on the Ballot. Is
that legal under Florida Law. I personally object to any election with no
votes. If a person is unopposed, people should still have an opportunity to
vote or to abstain.
As for the recent CC who was illegally ousted by the Board of Directors, her
name should also appear on the ballot so people can express their
preferences. The membership was completely by-passed in her ousting. The
decision was removed from other members' being consulted. I prefer a Project
where the members are in charge, not three or four people on a Board.
I ask this of our President: Who is going to tabulate the votes?
I ask again what are the 'terms of use' of the President's owned new server
space for hosting FLGenWeb Inc. web sites?
I ask why it is registered in our President's name rather than in FLGenWeb
Inc. corporate name? We are a corporation, a legal entity. The assets belong
to the Corporation, not to the Officers of the Corporation.
I ask again and again and again for an accounting of the $50.00 I donated to
FLGenWeb? If there is no accounting for it within five days, I ask that the
funds be returned to me.
