Hi,
May I suggest the following be posted on a backpage of your website
with a link to it on the homepage if you are hosted at RootsWeb (or
modify it for other hosts):
Coordinator Waiver
Should unexpected events occur that prevent me from
fulfilling my obligations as a FLGenWeb County Coordinator, I want it
known that all information contained on these sites would become the
responsibility of the FLGenWeb Project, to do with as the FLGenWeb
State Coordinator and/or the Assistant State Coordinator feel is
appropriate. Further, should such an occasion arise, I grant
permission to the System Administrator of RootsWeb to release my
account/password information for the aforementioned sites to the
FLGenWeb State Coordinator and/or the Assistant State Coordinator.

Dear Members,
I am not trying to be morbid, but a question was posed to me that I
feel needs to be posed to the entire project.
What happens to your flgenweb site if you die? Have you made
provisions for it to be turned over to someone or for it to be
turned over to the FLGenWeb Project?
I know that I have left instructions with my will for all my
genealogy related sites, user id's and passwords, not just FLGenWeb
County sites to be turned over to the SC of the FLGenWeb Project,
whomever that might be at the time of my demise and if I should
become incapacitated for any reason, my husband knows where I keep a
list of my sites and the access information with instructions to
contact the SC if that should occur. I did this several years ago
when I had a serious health scare.
