I recieved a message from McInnis, but being strictly a commercial site, I
do not plan on linking to his site. Ancestry is a different story as they
have many free benefits for researchers, they would be acceptable, though I
do not yet have their link on my site.

Jon McInnis, who is the owner of ALLCENSUS has approached myself and
another county coordinator about placing a link for his business on our
county web sites. When he was asked what benefit would be derived from
this link,this was his response:
"I can set up a page specifically for your site, that would list all
Florida census records presently available and their prices. We would do
all the processing. You would receive 20% of every sale excepting the
handling charge."
I hesitate allowing such links on the county web sites, however there
are some who have affiliate links to
Ancestry.com one their pages, and I
am one of those. However, this could be an advent to help obtain
materials to be shared amongst all the counties. It was also indicated
if the link was placed on the FLGenWeb Homepage this offer would still
stand. As with my standing policy, this is your Project and I'd like to
have your input/suggestions and/or comments.
At this time, I'd like to express my sincere thanks to everyone for
their efforts that have made during the Year 2000. I hope each and
everone has a very "Merry Christmas" and that the Year 2001 will be even
better.
Respectfully,
Darrel R. Bell
