You may want to start by narrowing own your focus to a particular area in new York --
otherwise, the list of Churches will be overwhelming. I'd suggest that you search
City Directories and/or the Census to try to figure out where in NY the family resided.
That will help to determine which Church(es) that were in the neighborhood and you can
then search those records...

I would be interested in getting a list of Irish Catholic Churches in all of
the Boroughs in New York City, namely the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan. My
great great grandparents John and Margaret McGuire lived in New York until
1869 when they moved to Black Hawk County, Iowa. They had three sons and
one daughter, all three sons were born in New York City, their daughter was
born in Iowa. Their third son William Francis McGuire was my great
grandfather, he was born November 1, 1867. I am not sure which borough he
was born in, If I could locate his baptismal records that would help if
anyone would have any ideas of who to contact in New York.
Both John and Margaret were from Fermanagh.
