Dear Olivia -
Thank you so much for responding to my query concerning St. Patrick's
Church. I would really appreciate it if you could take or obtain a picture
of the outside of the church for me. I live in the US and hired a
genealogist for Irish research. He traveled from Newry to Holywell and
took several pictures for me of the house and area where my
great-grandmother, Mary McGourty lived in Mullanawinna. He took a picture
of the altar inside the church, but the picture that he took of the outside
did not turn out. So, I thought that maybe I could connect with someone
that already had a picture of it.
Since you live in Belcoo - do you happen to know Kathleen Sweeney? She is
my second cousin. Her grandfather was a sister of my
great-grandmother. She met with my researcher and showed him the house at
Mullanawinna and related information about her branch of the McGourty family.
Kathleen Sweeney's parents were married at the Chapel of Sessagh. Are you
familiar with this church? I am just wondering if it is in close proximity
to the townland of Mullanawinna. Their marriage license states that
Catherine Lilly was the daughter of Bernard Lilly of Drummully. As of yet,
my researcher has not sent me any maps designating the locations of the
various townlands, but, I am assuming that Drummully is near Mullanawinna.
Thank you very much for the info on obtaining the baptismal and death
certificates for my ancestors. Your generosity is very much
appreciated. I hope that I have not taken advantage of you by asking the
additional questions.
Thanks.

P.S. I will reimburse you for any expenses incurred for the photos. Just
let me know all of the costs involved.

be
few weeks before I get it for/to you. I know of Mullinawinna townland as it
in my parish of Cleenish. The Parish priest is named Fr John Finnigan who
lives at St Marys Church Arney Bellanaleck Co Fermanagh. He holds all
babtismal/
marriage certiffcates or copies. Write to the Town Hall Enniskillen Co
