I think you have misunderstood. I know that the list of names another
person posted as being in the Roscommon transplantation of 1606 were all
surnames found in Galloon, around Newtownbutler. Some were my direct
relatives and some were their very close neighbors. I have never heard
these names associated with Roscommon before and it is of great interest to
me---particularly the surnames of Foster/Forster and Nixon.
I, too, would like to know the source of these surnames being associated
with the Roscommon implantation............anyone knowledgeable about the
particular names mentioned and their association with Roscommon?
