No they aren't from Leaf suggestions, I have the complete line from 1784
up to 1931, Marriage Certs, Banns, Censii etc Death Notices in Times and
so on by actively searching... Please note I don't need any lookups or
BUT now that I'm getting to more recent dates their data is more
restrictive hence the need for hints so need to get address right
including the County..then USE the Hints to actively search The Times or
Is Southwark a County?? I tried looking it up and got Essex and Sussex
as the County for here, hence my query. Grrrrrrrr....
It's been relatively easy up to this as a few married Vicars etc and the
various Census showed Nephews/Nieces etc staying at Census night so the
various Siblings etc were proven over the generations and also by
Wills.. this Hall lines go from Staffordshire to Norfolk to London to
Yorkshire to Scotland and now back to Southwark so I need to get County
I reckon after this I'll need Newspaper BDM's, hopefully Ancestry Hints
will give me which papers to actively search....

I meant to enter those things onto the search page. When I just enter 1931
and The Uplands in the mentioned slots on the search page, I come up with
quite a few results in the voter lists and phone books. Although I left the
"name" blank, the first entries for The Uplands, Camberwell are numerous
Halls. The Uplands also seems to be an address for other locations.
I assume that by clues, you mean the leaf suggestions. Those are more often
wrong than right. Active searching is more effective.
I'm not sure of the age of your ancestors in The Uplands in 1931, but if
they would be on the voter lists, beware that there are numerous
mistranscriptions of names on those lists and many people weren't
transcribed, both of which make them less likely to show up in leaf
suggestions, though they can be found by searching.
The results are shown on Ancestry as being: Street address: The Uplands;
Ward: Camberwell; County: Southwark, so I'd say that that would be the
