Thanks Marge! Will look it up. My wife has done Ancestry DNA, but it only pulled up some
second cousins on her father's side - the Moffits are maternal.

In working on our library catalog, I just came across this book:
The Scots: a genetic journey
by Allistair MOFFAT and James F. Wilson
This MAY be able to answer some of your Moffat questions, as it would seem that the
author's own quest (in part) led to this book.
I am not at the library or I would look at the book myself.
I don't know when I am going there again.
I will try to remember to take a look at it then.
