Hello All.
Much as I don't usually like clogging up the lists with greetings on such
occasions, I "must" reply to Sue's note here: Sue thank you for your lovely
thoughts written below; most especially for your "smile from a stranger".
That is lovely.
At the same time I will send my holiday season greetings and thanks to each
one who contributes to this list. Each in his/her own way; all so valuable
in total.
Special thanks to those who keep the list active with their valuable
contributions, such as: Don, Vynette, Viola, Barry, Sean, Brian Mc if he is
still lurking, Cliff, Murray in NZ with his wonderful maps, Deirdre in oz,
Carole in oz, Frank, and Nick if he is also still around. Ooops, I almost
forgot to again include Soopy Sue into this list. Phew! THAT would be an
oversight. LOL Sue.

I know we are each very different, as to who we are, where we
live,
what
we do.....some of us may celebrate this time of year, some may
not.....So...with that in mind ....Although I DO wish you ALL a very Merry
Christmas and a
Happy, Healthy, (wall breaking) New Year.....more then that I wish you
the
"Spirit of Giving". Whether it be a smile from a stranger on a long
shopping
line, a door held open for you, or just a "Thank You" from someone you
helped....I wish these and more for you.
We may be quite different BUT we share a common bond.....the search for
our roots, our ancestors, our "family". So during this time I also wish
for
you...whether you celebrate or not....the warmth of friends and family,
old
memories told 'round a table, the sparkle in a child's eyes,and laughter.
Laughter so good it brings tears to your eyes.
Some might say during the year I "Give". Yes I guess Ido, but in return
I
have received back much more. Many of you have opened up in friendship to
me
and to me that is the greatest gift of all. Thank you.
After the New Year...I'll be back "full force" as the ....what did sean
call it? "Resident Librarian? " lol (< see I got it in!) Take care

you next year, and hopefully there will be MORE books on Google! Gee...I
can
hope can't I? (lol)!
