I have found an 1801 burial of John Acheson in St. Molaise C of I
Cemetery, Devenish Parish. The residence is clearly written as
Tonnyreigh. In the freeholders index for 1788 & 1796; his adode was
Tonyreigh and his freehold was Moneyaurgan (Moneyouragan), Cleenish.
I have looked for Tonyreigh on PRONI site and SeanRuad's site.
Tonyteige, Cleenish is the closest I can find. Is it reasonable to
consider these two places to be the same?
If so, my next question will be "Is it just a coincidence that this
John Acheson was buried next to the two plots belonging to my Acheson
families at Monea?"
