Knockninny has around 80 headstones around Church... New Cemetery around
With so many going around all these Cemeteries it only takes a little
effort for someone to take photos while, there instead of just walking
around and leaving! I gave Chris nearly 1700 photos for over 40
Cemeteries but with so few willing to even contribute an hour or two to
help transcribe them it takes months before they can go online.
I have 100's and 100's more not sent.... Time to hang up the camera!!
It would only take 10 minutes to photograph Knockninny, for example,
but people can't be bothered!

Just looking at it from above I make it out to be around 180 headstones!!
Why Knockninny? It is miles away..... I thought you had already
checked Staghall! What townland were they from originally??

Good morning (directed mainly to Vi and Dave),
I had another try with the Cavan Genealogy Center about where my
Reilly family might have been buried in the late 19th, early to mid
20th century. They suggested Staghall Cemetery would be the most
likely. I don’t think we have transcribed that cemetery yet, have we?
Can’t see it on igp-web anyway. Am willing to go up and transcribe it
but just checking that it isn’t on anyone’s list to do ;) I am only a
quarter way through a big Waterford cemetery though so wouldn’t be up
there for a month or so. Dave, can you estimate how long it would take
me to photograph it? And while I am at it, I may as well go over to
Knockninny, Derrylin, Fermanagh and do that one as well? I can now
drive on the left (slowly) so am able to get to remote locations.
