I am stepping into the virus discussion here as I don't want panic to
spread through the list! You can be assured that a virus cannot be spread
through rootsweb mailing lists as they are scanned and attachments (the
most common way of spreading a virus) are NOT allowed.
There is a help page on the site http://www.fermanagh.org.uk/listhelp.htm
with links to sites where you can have a free online virus check. If you
don't have an anti-virus program on your computer, please do visit one of
these sites. Even if you do have an anti-virus program it can be worth a
free visit anyway, to set your mind at rest.
The help page link above appears on every tag line at the bottom of every
mail - so you can always find the page quickly. If you have a problem, try
that page first rather than posting a message onto the list.
