I am interested in finding out more about the families (i.e. ARMSTRONG,
GODBER & WILSON) associated with the following individual.
*Sarah Ann WILSON nee GODBER* (circa 1842 IRL - 1925 VIC AUS).
Sarah who is the daughter of George GODBER and Sarah ARMSTRONG married
George WILSON (?, IRL - bef. late 1893, VIC, AUS) on 11 Apr 1865 in
Enniskillen, Enniskillen, FER, IRL. George’s father is Thomas WILSON.
I found Sarah in a newspaper report where her role as a defence witness in
the trial of her cousin, Hamilton Armstrong (1849 FER, IRL - 1934, SA,
AUS), for attempted murder in 1893 is discussed.
A search of Irish records (i.e. 1823-1838 INDEX Tithe Applotment and the
1901 & 1911 Irish Censuses) have located a small number of individuals
named GODBER living in the townland of Killybracken, Killesher. This
townland is either close or on the boundary with the civil parish of
