This is a correction to my previous message.
Bridie Murphy was a witness to my ancestor's marriage. However the entries in
Griffith's Valuation are as follows:
MURPHY, Bridget, Fermanagh, Aghavea, Location: Ardmoney
MURPHY, Bridget, Fermanagh, Enniskillen. Location T/Tempo.
This may relate to the one person or probably not, the name is relatively common
in Ireland. As a guess I would say that the witness was the Bridget Murphy at
Tempo as that was where the marriage took place.
My apologies for the error in the previous message
I am looking for any Cluff family in Fermanagh. My
great grandfather (John Cluff, I believe) is from
Fermanagh, likely Enniskillen. I believe he married
Bridie Murphy. They had a son Arthur Patrick, who
moved to Dublin and then Liverpool, where my dad,
Colin, and myself (Paul) were born. Any info and I
would love you, whoever sends it!
