if you look at the Property Dialog's Events tab for any of the people who
are getting 'Gelboter change of name' in the report - do they have an event
or attribute that corresponds to this in any way?
If they do, do you know where this comes from or how it got there? If not,
when viewing a Family Group Sheet report, try clicking on the Options
button, and then clicking on 'Installation Settings' and press OK. Does
that fix it?

Subject: [FHU] Gelboter - change of name
I'm new to Family Historian (its V3) and I am not doing very well!
I've imported a GEDfile from another family history program.... not too
successful, my notes are screwed up.
So, I thought I would open a NEW family (not importing anything) and start
typing the family in.
After typing in one family (parents and children) I decided to check what
it would look like in Report form (various).
Family Group Sheet:
The above section if OK.
Thereafter.... when it is dealing with the individual it comes up as
Gelboter change of name This is the line I do not want and do not know why
it is in the report.
and ditto for the wife.
For the children the Family Group Sheet entry comes up:
Gelboter change of name
The odd thing.... Gelboter change of name only comes up in the Family
Group Sheet, but NOT in the version of the Family Group Sheet (for Web or
It does not show up for any other report, but I would like to understand
why it is there... if I did not type it in.
I presume, somehow... a command has been embedded? I've looked at the
Event List.... 'no change of name' there.
