I've realised what I did wrong. I clicked 'Apply' on the report options
screen and then 'ok' which obviously wasn't saving it as the pictures
didn't resize when I re ran a report, but when I clicked the save button
the did re-size.
Many thanks for your help. I've just breathed a huge sigh of relief
because I didn't want to go back to version 2 unless it was really
necessary and I didn't want to lose all that time I spent scanning

Nick is quite right. There is a small bug here, but you get can get
it exactly as he says - i.e. change the source picture size and press OK
save your change. Then close the report and re-open it (just clicking
'Rebuild' button isn't enough). Thereafter your source picture size
He is also quite right that we put out patches from time for any bugs
emerge, and this one will of course be fixed in the next patch.

Well I only got the new version today so couldn't try this before
also everyone else has only just got it so give us a chance!
This is clearly a bug and one that Simon will no doubt sort out in a
patch fairly soon, judging by what normally happens.
I believe the way around this is to set the source picture size, then
the report and then reopen it. It only seems to notice the picture
changed next time the report is loaded.

Subject: [FHU] Impossible to size source pictures so V3 being returned
Well, I have now spent most of today and yesterday attempting to make
a picture linked to a source print at more than about an inch and a
half in reports. I have yet to find a way to do it and as no one has
replied to my mail to explain how it can be done I assume that it is a
feature that must have been removed from version 3. It seems strange
though as the box to enter a picture width is still there. This is a
real disappointment as I cannot see any point in producing an upgrade
to software if some of the features of the original have been removed.
Who cares about all people diagrams and flags if you cannot source
your data in a way that people can understand and read!
Therefore, with a great sense of regret I'm going to return my version
3 of FH for a refund.
