Those U.D.F. OBJE entries are trying to link a Multimedia Object Record and its Image File
to the NAME field.
However, this is not allowed in the GEDCOM specification.
Multimedia Records/Image Files can be linked to whole Records or to Facts, but NOT to the
To discover what Multimedia Records they are trying to link to, use View > Record Lists
The Record Id column matches the number between @O and @ (i.e. 995 in your example
If no such Record Id exists then the U.D.F. can be safely deleted.
If the Record Id does exist, then you may wish to link to that Multimedia Record Image via

Thanks again Mike. I can now see what the problem is but do not know what to do about it.
It appears the error is the same in all the Udf records. In the property box under Name
there is a starred line:- OBJE @0995@ with
an expansion of:- ASID 1. The only variation between the records are the numerals between
the @ signs. What does this imply? Do I
