The following assumes you have FH V6.6.2 installed.
I guess by 'transcribed' you mean text in the Text From Source field of the Source
record with no image.
Therefore, simply add the scanned image to the Media tab of the appropriate Source
Then in the More column of the Facts tab there will be an image icon, and similarly
against the Source Citation in the Sources For
One click on the Show Media button in either pane will show the image.
If even your 'transcribed' version does have an image, then clicking the Show
Media button will show both images instantly.
Alternatively, it may be possible to adjust the Fact summary in the Facts tab to indicate
which image exists.
There is advice about that technique in the FHUG @ http://fhug.org.uk/

Subject: [FHU] Event Source Type
I am just undertaking an exercise to verify some of the older events I have in my Family
Tree. I'm fortunate that Ancestry now have
the PRs for the two counties where my ancestors resided, namely Surrey and Oxfordshire. Up
to now, I've had a source for each PR
that I have obtained from the various FH Societies - and I now have hundreds - so, for
example one source would be :- PR - West
Horsley(SRY). These, though are all transcribed. Now I can obtain the original scanned
versions for each event I'd like to record
somehow against that event that although they have come from the source PR - West
Horsley(SRY), I can see if it is from the
transcribed text or the scanned original. I originally thought I might be able to add a
User Defined field to each Event but I do
not believe that is possible. I suppose I could use the Assessment field when creating or
editing the Event. However, I would like
to be able to see that each particular event is either from a Scanned Original or
Transcribed version regardless of the fact it
comes from the source PR - West Horsley(SRY). Can anybody think of a nice way of doing
this ? I do not want to create two sources of
say "PR - West Horsley(SRY) - Transcribed" and "PR - West Horsley(SRY) -
