So it looks as if some of us (myself, Andrea) are not receiving AOL
messages at all, while some people receive them marked as spam.
And we (myself, Andrea) are receiving messages from ntlworld/Virgin
Media marked as spam, while some people receive them 'untouched'.

GMail is sufficiently courteous to do that but other ISPs mail systems
may not - they might refuse the unauthenticated traffic from aol to
