Jane, Thanks for this and apologies for the delay in responding. Your advice
makes sense, but in these credit-crunch times I'd like to save the
additional cost of buying the full version if I don't need to!
I'm therefore hoping I'll be able to do the "triple install" when my new
arrives, and in the meantime download the v4 upgrade on my laptop.
However, in checking back through my software I have:
- a boxed version 2.1.6 (no registration key)
- an upgrade CD with registration key for version 3.0
- a downloaded upgrade for version 3.1
Can anyone remember if v2 needed a separate registration key? It's so long
ago I can't remember how I originally installed it! If it does, then I guess
I'll have to buy the full version anyway.

Subject: Re: [FHU] V4 upgrade and multiple PCs
You can install any version of FH on two computers as long as it's for
your own use.
My best suggestion to avoid the triple install is to consider buying
the Full Box or Download version of V4 which will allow you to upgrade
the existing install and have a single install for any new computer.

I'm just a little concerned that when I buy the v4 download
upgrade for my
laptop, I'm then going to be faced with a complex installation of v2.1,
upgrading to v3 and then upgrading again to v4 when I buy the new PC.
this true, and if so, is there an easier way?
