Any CD's that you have that work with XP should work with both Vista and
Windows 7 without any problems. I use the word "should" as you can never be
100% certain about what will and what will not work with a specific
computer/operating system but in your case I would go with 99.9% certainty.

Subject: [FHU] OLD CD's/New computer
I'm about to upgrade my computer and one of my concerns is the CD's for
family history study I've bought over the years will not work.
Can any-one help with this? I'm computer illiterate (but trying to
learn) is it the system installed on the computer or the actual new
machine that would determine whether they worked? And can anyone
tell me what to look out for? (I'm on XP at the moment, and they all
seem to be fine, - but the new machine will have Vista home and, I
think, will go to Windows 7).
Will I be able to install Family Historian on a new computer?
