I am so sorry to hear this. I was just thinking about him this morning
and wondering how he was getting on. Thanks for passing on this news.
If I can be any help in carrying on his database please get in touch.
It would be so sad if people didn't continue to benefit from his hard work.

It is with great sadness that we tell you that Ray lost his fight with
cancer late last night.
He had been ill a short time with an aggressive brain tumour.
We shall all remember him for his great kindness and generosity to all his
fellow family historians.
I know John and I will miss his cheery visits to Suffolk, when he would
inevitably end up at my PC tweaking it to make things better.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Trina, and children Amber, Becky
and James and also Susanne, Michael and Julia.
