My great Uncle George Davis (Davies) died 24 March 1972 at The Beeches
Hospital. I have a copy of his death entry from the General Registers
He was born in 11 March 1886 in Smite Hill, Hindlip, Claines
Worcestershire.. I know that he was a veteran and was wounded in the war. I
don't know how long he lived in Ironbridge.
Does anyone know where he would have been buried if he was buried around
Ironbridge. George did not have any family in England, as his brother
William was sent to Canada as a home child (Although I am looking into
another brother James who may have lived to adulthood.)
