I have just started to research my husband's family. His g grandfather was William HAZLEDINE, born in Coalbrookdale about 1860 (according to the 1901 census). I think that his age may have been mistranscribed as 30 rather than 35/36 as the only Hazledines born in Coalbrookdale that I can find in the 1881 Census are;
William L HAZLEDINE HD Widower, 52, Blacksmth, b CBDale
Edwar T S U 21, Engine Smith (Dr), b CBDale
Margroetta D U 17, Housekeeper, b CBDale
William S U 15, Iron Moulder, b CBDale
Lewis J S U 9, Scholar, b CBDale
They were living at "Rose Hill, Madeley, Shropshire".
Does anyone have any information on the Hazledine family in that area? Are the parish records for Coalbrookdale available on fiche or does it come under another parish name? Thank you very much for any help.
