Church of England parish registers for the Hull parishes will be at the East Riding
Archives in Beverley, which is the repository for the
archdeaconry of the East Riding. The Bishop's Transcripts will be at the Borthwick
Institute in York, which is the diocisan registry. Probate
records will also be there.
A lot of the nonconformist registers for Hull chapels are also on film/fiche at Beverley.
The rest are either at the Hull City Archives or the
Hull Central Library or both.
Some of these records may be indexed online by the LDS (www.familysearch.org
), but by no
means all. The EYFHS has published Sculcoates
baptisms/marriages and burials. They have also published some monumental inscriptions.
Check their website
There is no comprehensive index to all these records in one place.

I've recently moved to York and was hoping I'd find Hull parish records
What I'm after hopefully is an indexed set of records- births, deaths and
marriages for the Vevers family up to 1837.
Can anybody tell me whether these records exist a bit nearer to me than Hull
