I recently discovered that two of my Clark(e) ancestors died in Hull within
a couple of days of each other in September 1849.
I have the death certificate for one of them which gives the cause of death
as diarrhoea but it seems certain to me that they both died of cholera in
that years epidemic.
I will get the other death certificate and have looked for resources on the
Hull History Centre but wondered if anyone knows of any other sources of
information about this epidemic that might be worth referring to?
