I know South Cave, as my METCALF ancestors lived there in the early 1800s. I think he
would be buried in the village cemetery as I don't know of a separate Methodist burial
ground. I have checked the MI list for South Cave Cemetery and there are no Leightons
listed. There is a little bit of history of Methodism in South Cave here:
I hope this is useful.

Cave> > My inquiry is in regards to my gggrandfather's family who was born in
South Cave on the 10 Aug 1844 and died in Chamberlain, Sasketchewan Canada on 11 Jun 1924.
My question is about his father was Samuel and he was Methodist and were would Samuel be
buried in South Cave.> Another question I have is that I have him listed in the census
as a ploughboy. My question is would he be pulling the plough or steering it with an ox or
cattle in the front end. > Gary Manthorne> gmanthorne(a)shaw.ca> 230-8751> >
