Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
If you have inscription books for any cemeteries located in Eastern
Kentucky (or anywhere), please look for the name "SILAS FANNIN." His
dates should be: born about 1822, and died after 1887. Also, when
searching any other records, please check for SILAS FANNIN. Last record I
have found on him in West Virginia, alive, is a marriage performed by him
in 1887 as recorded in the Wayne Court House. I found no later record for
him or any of his family.
