<Pigot & Co. South Wales directory for 1844
I have now extracted the data for Aberayron and Neighbourhood onto the

Comparisons between 1830 and 1844;
A lot more traders in the town in 1844, although now covers the
Interesting to see that Coaches didn't run in the winter months, this seems
to be a common feature on most, if not all, the extracts to date.
The carriers did apparently run though, seems the 'well off' didn't like to
travel in bad weather.
Note the separate registrars for marriages, and births in 1844, none at all
in 1830 obviously, no one named for burials.
The number of Inns/taverns/pubs has halved but there are now nearly a dozen
'Retailers of beer' !
