Rutherland is not listed in the Brigstocke's 1904 Trade Dirtectory for
Haverfordwest. Perhaps it was a name of a house?

Subject: [Dyfed] Marriage and Place Query
Can anyone advise? In what sort of circumstances would a couple in 1868
marry in the Register Office rather than a Church - would it just be that
they weren't very religious or could there be some other reason. The
in question are I believe my husband's great grandparents,
Davies, they are both domestic servants, a bachelor and a spinster.
Benjamin's residence is given as Clareston, which I have located in
Freystrop and Ann's residence is Rutherland in Haverfordwest. Does anyone
know where Rutherland is?
A Happy New Year to you all
