I agree with Joy, Nancy's efforts are superb.
I have a number of family members from the mid to late 1800s recorded only
on a piece of paper as 'Hannah -- America' and 'David --- America' with
further record as to what became of them. I always examine Nancy's
contributions with care.

I want to express my thanks to Nancy Cook who regularly submits details of
deaths of Welsh expatriots extracted from old Wilkes-Barre newspapers.
Although I read quickly through them each time they appear I never thought I
would find anyone of interest to me. Then recently the name of a North Wales
village in which I am interested was mentioned as the birthplace of a father
and son both deceased.
I contacted Nancy thinking that she would have the full entry on file on her
computer but instead she posted photocopies of the actual newspaper extracts
which give a complete picture of the events which led to their deaths. Thank
you so much Nancy.
So keep on looking everyone - you never know, you could be lucky too!
