Hello Clare and Gerry
I know Albert Street really well as many of my family have lived there
at various times and in many census. - so I had a quick look and here is
Jane - now a widow.
Haverfordwest St Thomas enum dist 4 page 25
Jane Richards head wid 57 Baker born Pem Rudbaxton speaks English only
William Richards fatjer in law wid 87 retired blacksmith borm Pem
Camrose speaks english only.
Note: the neighbours are similar to those in 1881 so I would think she
is in the same house.
Hope this helps - it confirms Gerry's info re William Richards.

My database of the 1891 census does not yet cover the whole of
Haverfordwest, but I found the following (no James of the right age):
Albert Street, Haverfordwest St.Thomas
Jane Richards, head, widow, 52, baker, born Rudbaxton PEM
William Richards, father-in-law, widower, 87 [could be 81], born Camrose PEM
After a little bit of searching the 1881 census CD-ROM revealed:
Albert Street, Haverfordwest St Thomas
James Richards, head, 43, labourer, born Haverfordwest
Jane Richards, wife, 48, born Haverfordwest
Jane's age is a few years adrift - a transcription error perhaps (if they
are the right couple - I reckon they are). But they weren't being very
specific about their birth parishes.
William Richards, aged 71, blacksmith, birthplace Camrose, is living at
Pelcomb Cross, Camrose with his wife Martha, aged 68, birthplace also
Camrose. Pelcomb Cross is on the Haverfordwest to St David's Road in the
south of the parish.
I found the following grouping in the 1841 census index:
HO107/1449/3, Camrose, folio 43, page 5
James Richards, 2
Martha Richards, 20 [to 24]
William Richards, 25 [to 29], Blacksmith
All born in Pembrokeshire
And in the 1851 census index:
HO107/2478, folio 400, page 7, schedule 20
Elizabeth Richards, 9, born Keeston Hill
James Richards, 11, born Keeston Hill
Jane Richards, 8, born Keeston Hill
Martha Richards, 38, born Keeston Hill
Thomas Richards, 8mo, born Keeston Hill
William Richards, 41, born Pembrokeshire
Keeston Hill is at the western end of Camrose parish, on the Haverfordwest
to St David's Road just a mile or so from Pelcomb Cross [see above]. You
will have to check the 1851 census microfilm to see the other details
(confirmation of relationships and William's occupation).
