Yesterday we received an apology from the Rotarian whose message to my
husband caused the problem. It had bypassed the sender's Norton antivirus
system, and by-passed mine too. Unfortunately his blank message and
were both opened by me, as the subject was a current matter on which he had
been corresponding with my husband. We expected it to be quite a legitimate
At Rotary last night my husband was fined for passing on the virus...though
detection systems fortunately appear to have caught it. The person who sent
it to us had the good sense not to turn up at last night's meeting!
