What a generous gesture, but 80 pages !
Is it in long hand then ?
And is it indexed ?
I assume by scanning you mean OCR too, or creating actual text as opposed to
graphic images of each page ?
The OCR route is more long winded but at least you end up with a single text
Either way please don't send to the list, if any one wants a copy please
send it direct.

Subject: [Dyfed] SUCCESS with the RICHARDS search
Hello again,dear listers,
I have finally found sources and information
on my in-laws,the Richards and have spent the better part of the last 2
months sorting it !!
I have ,however,'not' a 'scanner' on my system
thereforeI have another dilemma.....I wish to pass along this 80-pages
of info,but typing by hand,each page ,is not an option...I could:
1)mail it snail-mail to someone of you who does have a scanner;
2)use my friend's system,(my next-door neighbour),with a scanner;
3)post one page at-a-time,for the next 80-100 days!!hhhaa!
If there is interest out there ,I could persuade my neighbour ...
The information begins with several Richards leaving Cardigan,Wales in
1819 aboard the brig
ALBION,and settling in NB.,Canada(a place which they named
also'Cardigan') and coming up to the present day,2002..wonderful
great stories and ,perhaps for some of you,
some 'cousins' in the package!
Please advise ,your pleasure,should you wish
access to this info..I don't want to simply post it if no one can use
