This is your family on the 1881 Census do write back if you need any
clarification. It shows Elizabeth Ann was born around 1866 and it should be
quite easy to get her birth certificate if you don't have it.

Subject: [Dyfed] descendants of samuel joshua-haverfordwest
I am new to genealogy and have recently subscribed to this mailing list in
the hope someone may be able to help me trace my ancestors.
Samuel Joshua,my g/g-grandfather was born in St Helena c.1833. A ships
mariner, he married Ann Edwards, settled in Hubberston but died 1909.
Their second child (of seven), Elizabeth Ann Joshua married Jonathan Thomas
(a ships rigger/platelayer) in Cardiff, 1900.Their first child Melvyn May
Thomas-1902 was my g/mother. In 1924 she married George W Newrick and had a
daughter Audrey Barbara (18.8.25). Sadly this is all the info I have at
If anyone has info on these people I would like to hear from you.
Many thanks ..........Steve
