A friend of mine (who doesn't have access to the Internet) has asked
can help him trace any details of the death of his great grandfather -
any other details:
His name was William Williams, and he is believed to have been
killed, at the age of 31 yrs, at the Great Mountain Colliery, Tumble.
William is believed to have been the manager of the colliery at the
of his death. I am unsure exactly when he died, but strongly suspect
was in the last quarter of the 19th Cen.
He was married to Susannah (nee Hopkins), and they had around 5 or 6
Mabel Gertude, Mary or May, Adeline, William and either one son named
David John, or two sons David & John.
Any help or advice etc would be much appreciated.
